Routz is a benefice youth group for teenagers to have fun, chill out and meet up with friends. Come and visit us over at Routz.
The Choir
We are so lucky to have an excellent Choir, currently about 10 strong and who sing at all services.

Bell Ringing
Orlingbury has 6 bells and a dedicated team of ringers, who ring for all services and special occasions and events. Practice is on Tuesday evenings, followed by a meeting in the Queen’s Arms!

Flower Team
A team of volunteers arrange flowers in Church on a weekly rota basis and the whole Church is decorated for special services and occasions. New members are always welcome.

Church Cleaning Team
Our Church always looks and smells clean thanks to the volunteers who clean it on a two weekly rota basis. We also have special cleans a couple of times a year, followed by some food to renew strength! The more people who help, the easier it is. People on the rota are on duty about 3 times per year.

Family Circle
Activities for the whole family, starting with bacon baps! Meets in the Village Hall every third Sunday, 9.30 to 10.30 am

OOAPS!
Orlingbury’s group for the 60+ meets at Isham Cricket Club for lunch at 12.30 every first Thursday of the month. Lunch is £4 per head, the bar is open, there is a quiz, raffle and lots to talk about!

Drama Group
Presents an annual play, which is always well received and the group has a wide local following! If you are interested in acting, backstage, creating sets, props or front of house, you will be very welcome.

OUCH!
A creative group that put on different, interesting but always entertaining events, usually on the Village Green. The most famous one being the annual Orlingbury Unofficial Conker Championships every October.

Joseph Manning Trust
An old Village Charity that can give support to individual villagers in need and also sponsors village events such as OOAPS!, an annual professional Panto in the Village Hall and a couple of concerts during the year.

Orlingbury Eco Project
The project has already won a silver award from the Northamptonshire Wildlife Trust and is now striving for gold! Its in the Churchyard and the blog is also on this site. All volunteers welcome, to cut grass, sow seeds, weed, cut back shrubs, maintain our bug hotels, bird boxes and feeders etc.
