St Peters Church – Isham

Isham is a village and civil parish in Northamptonshire, England. The River Ise is to the east of the village. Isham, divided into Upper and Lower, is on the road from Kettering to Wellingborough, the village lying along a branch road.  Administratively, it forms part of the borough of Wellingborough. At the time of the 2001 census, the parish’s population was 743 people.

Isham churches earliest parts date from around the 12th century, however the tower is from the early 14th century. Like many other English churches, this Grade II listed building contains many interesting unique designs and items dating from the 12th century onwards. It was restored from 1833-43.
